SAMAL ISLAND – The Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) Government welcomed, on Wednesday, August 8, the first-ever 31-hectare luxury residential estate in Samal, Davao del Norte province.
The Samal Shores Residenza, a principal flagship project of the PJ Tri-Gon Realty Corporation – the real estate affiliate of the Ulticon Builders Incorporated – has formally unveiled its groundbreaking project at Discovery Samal in Barangay Limao, Samal.
Business Development and Special Projects vice president Celedonio Pile Jr. said during the media launch that the company aims to renovate the concept of upscale lifestyles and establish a society where visions thrive.
IGACOS assistant administrator Rosabel V. Jusguan, who welcomed and congratulated the people behind the project on behalf of mayor Al David Uy said the Samal Shores Residenza would be the first of its kind in Samal.
Jusguan said that such a high-quality subdivision is a dream come true for everyone in Samal and other parts of Mindanao who wishes to live comfortably with a steep art of facilities and communities since everything within reach is well defined.
“It is close to nature because we are on the island and near Davao City mainland, where you want to go shopping, visit some friends, and even wander around. Then, it is a few (at least 5) minutes away from everything you need,” Jusguan said.
Samal Shores Residenza project director Anna Mae Escalante said that this exclusive development is set to become the most sought-after address in the Davao Region in Mindanao. She added that this luxurious subdivision stands as a pioneer in multiple aspects.
Project AVP for Business Development Maryann June Mendoza said the Samal Shores Residenza with 497 lots features amenities such as a clubhouse, entry plaza, guardhouse, meditation, yoga park, jogging and fitness park, picnic and signature park, and children’s park, among the others.
Mendoza said that 25 percent of lots in the Samal Shores Residenza has been acquired. He added that the company is also planning to place a mall, a hospital, a fire station, and a police outpost in the subdivision.
Homeowners will also have a privilege card that has Discovery Samal perks.
With the completion of the Samal-Davao bridge project, Pile said the Samal Shores Residenza project will aspire beyond what everyone sees. He added that the project even has a program mall and more future hotels besides the Samal Shores Hotel, which the developers launched last month.
Jusguan said that Samal Shores Residenza is a clear manifestation and evidence that Samal Island, aside from being hailed as one of the top 10 best tourist destinations in the Philippines, it is also the best place to live.

The local government expressed its profound gratitude to the Samal Shores developers for setting their project in IGACOS, as this will be an opportunity for the city’s growth and for the residents in Samal to have a further livelihood.
